Perhaps you have a spare room in your house? It means you would offer a place in your home for that person to stay with you. It could be temporary or more long term. It may also mean that you would attend a bail hearing to vouch that you are willing to provide such accommodation. additionally it helps if you are able to build some contact with the person you are helping before the bail hearing, either through visits, telephone calls or written correspondence.
